So I get to interview our (hopefully) new HR manager today talking like an idiot. That's cool. I am actually the second person to speak with her (of 8 people) so I'm a bit nervous - I have never done something like this before so what if I don't know what to say? My instructions were vague: give her an idea of what our company is like. Since she's speaking with so many people it might be hard to give her an idea without being redundant but at least I'll be speaking to her before most of them, so if she has any questions she'll still have them for me.
I remember when I was interviewed here, they had a whole day set up including speaking to seven or eight people. By the time I was on the last two, they'd ask if I had any questions and I just had absolutely none left. Advisers always say you should ask plenty of questions but I just wasn't able to come up with enough for so many people.

I tried to look nice but not too dressed up today, mainly because I don't want her to think this is a stuffy office where everyone strolls around in suits all day (in fact, some colleagues wear wrinkled polos, jeans and steel toed boots almost daily). I didn't want to wear my hair up but hey, sometimes it just does not cooperate.
She's coming in at 10:30 and I am just so nervous as if this were my own interview. I can feel my stress ulcer getting worse as the minutes pass! Hopefully my boyfriend is coming over later for some soup (what else) and I will try to bake us a nice, soft dessert that I can eat and share with everyone here.
